Congratulations! We're glad you want to adopt/volunteer. This is S.H.I.N.E.'s Adoption & Volunteer Application. It is NOT a contract to adopt/foster a dog. This is but one step in the process. Once the application process is complete, you will be notified that you are an official approved S.H.I.N.E. adopter/volunteer. We complete the same process for adopters and volunteers so that all our volunteers can be wonderful ambassadors of the S.H.I.N.E. mission and exemplify what S.H.I.N.E expects of approved adopters. A successful adoption/foster experience depends on both the selection of the right dog for your household and the understanding of the dog's needs. We want to help find the right dog for you and find the right home for the dog. PLEASE BE PATIENT WITH US. This application process could take many weeks to complete. Our dedicated volunteers' first priority is always to care for the foster dogs in our care as well as helping to try to save the homeless huskies still in our local shelter facilities. Please answer the following questions as completely and honestly as possible. This information will only be used in the application process and will help S.H.I.N.E. to better get to know you and your family.
